I just finished up my first round of the 21 day fix extreme. I decided to do the countdown to competition plan. Was it hard??? Absolutely! Did I follow the plan 100%? Absolutely NOT!
It certainly made me realize I have some vices that I really need to work on. Those vices are wine, peanut butter and chocolate. I have a VERY hard time saying NO to these things so I really need to work on having these things in moderation and not in excess.
I faced a few hurdles during the 21 days. I came down with the stomach bug so there was one day where I did not eat a single thing and the next day I was so famished I had a bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. WOOPS! That is definitely NOT on the extreme meal plan. I also had my daughter’s first birthday party and I went in thinking that I would be able to control myself and NOT have wine. Well, that didn’t happen, everyone was drinking and celebrating so I figured I could have one glass. You know how that goes 1 glass turned in 3.
So did my countdown to competition meal plan goes as I had hoped? NO WAY. But I am happy with my progress, it was definitely a learning experience. And eating that way is NOT sustainable so Im proud that I tried it even if I did fail somedays.
I will be sticking with the regular fix meal plan for the next couple of weeks and then trying the countdown to competition meal plan in April. I have fitness photos the end of April so I’m going to try my hardest to give the countdown to competition meal plan 100%.

Here are my progress pics. I lost a total of 1 pound and a little less than 3 inches. Not sure why I look so tan in my before pictures, probably the lightening (maybe I should have gotten a spray tan for after pictures). I don’t see too much of a difference.. I see a slight difference in my stomach and a difference in my arms. This is definitely not a CRAZY transformation and I did NOT get the 6 pack I was hoping for but I still have a few months before I need to rock a bikini.
I have quite a few 21 day fix challenge groups coming up (21 day fix and 21 day fix extreme). I absolutely LOVE this program. And if you haven’t tried it yet, you need to get started. This program is a total life changer!!!!
