I love fitness, wine, peanut butter, dark chocolate, my sweet daughter Juliana, my teacup yorkie Bailey, and of course my husband Jamey. I shouldn’t limit it to just peanut butter… I have a nut butter obsession!
In February 2014 I left my Health and Physical education job of 9 years to be a stay at home mom to my daughter Juliana. I really struggled with the decision on whether or not I should go back to work. I loved my job and I loved the people I worked with even more. But, I knew I would never regret being at home and having the opportunity to spend everyday with my daughter.
A few months after I had Juliana, I realized there weren’t any mommy/baby exercise classes around my area. So, I decided to get perinatal certified so I could start teaching my own mommy/baby exercise classes. I hope to create a nurturing environment where moms can come with their new babies to work out and have a great support system. Classes coming this winter in Southbury, Connecticut!
After speaking with a friend about my plans on getting perinatal certified, she suggested I become a beachbody coach. The more I thought about it the more I realized that it would be a perfect fit. I will be able to work from home and help people get back in shape.
As a beachbody coach I hope to inspire people that it is never too late to get back in shape as long as you want it and work hard. I hope to pass on all the knowledge I have gained as a new mom about how everyone can achieve their pre-pregnancy body.
